If you had the chance to take a 2 week vacation to experience 2 of the Caribbean’s best Summer Festivals while you’re there, will you take the opportunity or would you let it slip?
The 46th Annual Carriacou Regatta and Grenada’s Annual Spice Mas Festival are scheduled to occur one week after the other. Beginning July 24th and climaxing on the Emancipation holiday weekend, visitors will once again be able to witness the skills and captaincy of some of the Caribbean’s best boatmen. Special highlights of the event include the ‘Miss Aquaval Queen Show,’ Miss Wet T-Shirt Competition, donkey races, the greasy pole competition and much more.
Soon after, the Annual Spice Mas Festival climaxes on August 8th and 9th in Grenada; “Home of 100,000 Jab Jabs.” Come experience a Carnival like none other. Dance to the sweet sounds of the steel pan music during the Panorama Competition, listen to the chants of the traditional mas bands during the Pageant or simply enjoy a night of elegance at the National Queen Show.
There is no better way to spend a vacation than to experience 2 of the Caribbean’s best Summer Festivals at one destination.
