Expressions of culture continue to flare at Grenada’s newest attraction ‘The Spice Basket.’ Listen to the pulsating rhythms of the sweet calypso music, savour the burst of tropical flavours from our Grenadian cuisine and allow the Spice Basket to captivate your senses all at once!
This attraction takes you on a journey through the different cultural aspects of the island in a relaxing atmosphere with a local Grenadian twist. Sit back next to the old copper fountain, sip a glass of Grenadian Skies Margarita but don’t be surprised if you’re asked to join one of the folk dancers on stage! Take a stroll down to the gift shop but be sure to catch a glance at the river down below.
Then you can take a guided tour of the world’s only West Indies Cricket Museum which provides an insight into Caribbean history through cricket and Grenada’s heritage. View display items from the 1800’s to present day including stumps, medals, old plantation records, Amerindian artifacts and even pamphlets written on the Grenada Revolution.
Step out of the ordinary this year with Grenada’s newest attraction ‘The Spice Basket.’
