For more than 40 years, the Billfish Tournament has continued to attract participants from neighbouring Caribbean islands. Considered the premier fishing event of the Caribbean, anglers from North and South America and Europe are often among the competitors hoping to break records for White Marlin, Blue Marlin and Sailfish. Respecting sound environmental practices, anglers 'tag and release' their catch. The camaraderie among anglers extends to beach parties, dining extravaganzas and other socializing.
