No other distillery in the entire Caribbean has been in operation as long as River Antoine, and very few have so carefully maintained traditional methods of rum preparation. Visitors can watch as rum is made in much the same manner that it was in the 18th century, when it fired the throats of the real buccaneers.

Football
An integral part of the school sports programme, football (also called soccer) is celebrated in villages, parishes and at the national level. Fans may also see a friendly international match or regional level competition with our ‘Spice Boyz’ in action.
Cricket
Woven into the fabric of Grenadian society, cricket is more than a sport. From primary and secondary school programmes to parish leagues and friendly community competitions, Grenada has the facilities, the fans and the players. Regional competitions and an occasional international match at the National Stadium are grand affairs for residents and visitors.
Tennis
A popular sport within the education system, Grenada is recognized regionally for its tennis talent. Several hotels have private courts. Three public courts – one at Grand Anse and two at Tanteen in the Town of St. George - are open to visitors, except on Tuesdays from 10 to 11 a.m. and Wednesdays from 9 to 11 a.m. No reservations required, as courts are available on a first come basis. .
Golf
The Grenada Golf Club is a challenging nine-hole golf course which plays eighteen holes from separate tee boxes.
