Grand Etang Lake

Car Rentals
If you prefer to enjoy the Spice Experience on your own, see Grenada up close and personal and visit sites outside of the more popular southern region such as the Grand Étang National Park or the Grenville Nutmeg Processing Station, you may want to rent a car!
Grenada has many Car Rental companies. Rates can range between approximately $50(USD) and 75 (USD) per day. Renting a car for a period of time can usually result in getting lower daily rates and in the high season including July and August, rentals must be secured for a minimum of at least three days.
Most rental car agencies require drivers to be 25 years. Before travellers even get behind the wheel they must first secure a Grenada Driving permit which can be obtained by providing a valid driver's license at the police station on the Carenage and paying a fee of $30(EC), or $11(USD). There are some rental agencies that also provide drivers with the local permit as part of their service.
