The love of the sea, boat building skills passed through generations and a natural inclination to compete have made the Carriacou Regatta one of the most excitingly diverse in the Caribbean. The event attracts competitors from around the world with work boats, racing boats, sailing boats and yachts. The Carriacou Regatta is the longest running festival of this nature in the Caribbean, going strong since 1965. The four-day event takes place the first weekend in August.

- Official Opening Ceremony - 3rd August, 2018
- Ms. Aquaval Pageant - 4th August, 2018
Sunday Activities (Round the island boat race, cycle race and a number of exciting onshore activities) -5th August, 2018
Monday Activities (Boat racing, onshore activities such as greasy pole, donkey race, tag of war, weight lifting, swimming race, beer drinking, musical chairs and a number of new onshore activities including athletics) - 6th August, 2018
