Welcome to all our British visitors, to Grenada, the Isle
of Spice. A former British colony and a member of the Commonwealth,
Grenada’s Head of State is still HRH Queen Elizabeth
II. The historic town of St. George’s still reflects
the Georgian buildings constructed during colonial times
and many of the island's plantations are named for their
colonial owners.
Travel to Grenada from London's Gatwick Airport by British
Airways, Virgin Atlantic or Golden Caribbean (Excel) who all operate weekly
flights into Grenada. Daily non-direct flights are also
available through BWIA West Indies Airlines, with connections
via Barbados or Trinidad.
