Welcome to Grenada, the land that caters to all the senses.
Visitors can stroll along the island's beaches and hear
the lilting sounds of steel bands and calypso or walk through
the lush rainforest and hear the calls of tropical birds.
Feel the warm sun and the smooth sand that comprises the
island's 45 white sand beaches and 9 black sand beaches,
or be tempted by the cool waters of the crystal clear sea.
Color abounds in the brilliance of the unspoilt underwater
coral reefs filled with tropical fish and in the flora that
envelops the islands.
Carriacou, the most populated island of the Grenadines,
is home to about 7,000 people and has an area of 13 square
miles. The Grenadines form a chain of beautiful small islands,
islets and uninhabited rocks that form a link between the
larger islands of Grenada and St. Vincent. This is really
a yachting paradise, with crystal clear waters, safe anchorages,
near perfect sailing weather year round and it’s ideal
for snorkeling in most areas among the reefs.
